Oh, and by the way - the red dot in the middle of his forehead is a rug burn from the tantrum he threw at my parent's house when my dad told him "no" to something.

Sorry we haven't posted pictures in a while, I'm sure everyone understands why. I do have some pictures that I needed to clear off of my camera for Drew's big ONE year birthday next week!! One night we were hanging out with Drew while he played with his new kangaroo climber he got as one of his birthday presents...

As I was uploading the other pictures, Drew decided to join me in the computer room and try on a couple of dad's umpire caps.

Well, my baby is 11 months old today - one more month and he is 1 So this is what he looks like as an 11 month old. Amazing how they change in the first year! He has quite the personality too. He loves to show off his clapping, high-fives, and waving bye-bye. We just bought our 5th wardrobe - 18 month clothes already!! He is walking almost perfectly, eating "people" food, talking (babbling) non-stop, passing the ball back and forth and of course (all ready) challenging my authority - and I LOVE every minute of it!!

If anyone knows RJ - I mean really knows RJ - you will be shocked to see these pictures of our house...
As you can probably notice, we had to remove one of our couches to make room for all of Drew's toys - priorities - hmmm.. keep Drew occupied or have somewhere to sit?!

I didn't realize that it had been so long since I have been on here. We have been SO busy!! Baseball season started a couple weeks ago so RJ is gone umpiring a lot. Drew and I stay busy, I joined Varsity gym and have been going after work. Drew has not adjusted to the childcare there yet, I guess since he doesn't know anyone and the surroundings are unfamiliar, he screams most of the time he is in there. Hopefully it will get better soon, I have only been able to spend about 45 minutes there, I'd like to stay a little longer and get some extra cardio in.

I have been really busy at work. I received a performance excellence award, along with a $750 bonus for putting together a software tool for planning and scheduling work. Now I am busy putting together some training and then I wil begin training the 100 users next week.

Drew finally had his 6th tooth cut through. He is busy and walking all over the place. He climbs on everything so I got him an early birthday present - a Kangaroo Climber. He LOVES to slide and he opens and closes the door over and over. He is not climbing on it yet, but he'll get there. We try to make it to the park on the weekends, and have considered getting a swingset for home, but I think the kangaroo climber works for now.

Let's see, what else do I need to catch up on? RJ and I did manage to make it to Mardi Gras in Cocoa Village Saturday night. They had a parade and carnival, it was so much fun. We met some friends I work with down there. It was an awful drive home though! Oh and we had a yummy Valentine's dinner at the Garlic. I've been on a diet so the Italian bread dipped in roasted garlic, oil and vinegar was excellent! Life is crazy busy right now!!

Here is my little baby einstein teaching himself to put the clue circle in the right hole! I looked over and he was totally doing it on his own!

Well, Drew turned 10 months old Saturday! I can't believe it, time is flying by so fast. Here are a couple pictures, Drew is dressed and ready to go to Target, beating RJ out the door now that he walking so good. He also is trying to get his mittens off - I wouldn't have kept them on either. Then right before bedtime, we tried to get a picture to document turning 10 months. I feel like he has this expression in every picture I take, but oh well, he has more hair and more teeth in this month!

We had a false alarm tonight. I noticed Drew tugging at his ears last night. Then when I picked him up from the babysitter today she said he pulled on his ears all day. He felt kind of warm so I took his temp when we got home - it was 102 - but I called the doctor since it was Friday, with my luck he'd end up feeling awful tomorrow. Since we live right around the corner from the office, she told us to come in and she would check him out. Turns out he is just teething - AGAIN! So by the end of the weekend, he will have 6 teeth! So we gave him some motrin and it was lights out. I hope he feels better for the Little Gym in the morning!!

We had a great weekend!! Saturday morning Drew and I went to this place in Port Orange called My Little Gym. It was a 45 minute kind of exercise / mommie & me type class. The whole room was filled with gymnastics mats and hrawled around, walked around, rolled around, played ball, saw bubbles for the first time and tons more. He literally laughed for 45 minutes non-stop. I am so glad that I took him there, we are now signed up to go every Saturday morning until June! I can't wait! RJ went golfing Saturday morning (which I almost blew off the little gym to go with him, but decided to stick to my original plans) and then took Drew for the afternoon while I went to the new high school and volunteered - serving spaghetti for NSBCAPS fundraiser. I actually had fun. We relaxed all day on Sunday, we wanted to go to the park but it ended up being too cold so we pushed all the furniture out of the living room and let Drew have a big play area. Now it's almost Monday again - too soon to go back to work!!

Drew took more steps tonight!!

For some reason dinner tonight was hysterically funny to the Drew-man. So we, of course, decided to document the moment. After looking at the picture, we noticed that you can see his little "fang" teeth that are almost all the way grown in...

Drew took steps again!! Luckily, RJ was there to see it this time. We were both SO excited. He is also standing on his own real good...

No pictures this weekend. Although we accomplished so many things that we could have taken pictures of. But before that we will begin with Friday morning when we had to take Drew to have blood taken for a routine check for anemia. No one told us that he was supposed to drink water before he went and he was dehydrated. She tried to take blood and nothing came out. The only thing we got from him was screaming, tears, and now probably a fear of white lab coats! He has a little bruise on his arm. We are supposed to take him back on Monday, but I think we are going to wait until the trauma is definitely healed.

Saturday RJ went fishing with a friend from work so Drew and I hung out playing and he took his first steps! Four of them before he fell. I was so excited and no one else was around to see it! Then when we had lunch, Idecided to try out this juice box and he totally got the hang of drinking through the straw after just a couple tries! He is becoming such a big boy! Saturday night RJ and I went to see STOMP in Daytona, we had a nice dinner at Red Lobster - yummy!! STOMP was good, but we had seen it before a couple years ago.

Sunday was such a nice day out so we went to the park. Drew had fun on the swing. I took him down the slide, but he didn't really think much of that. So that is a brief overview of our weekend!

Drew has this "new" facial expression/smile. It is actually reallly cute and he is showing his now all the way grown in bottom teeth. He has two top teeth half way grown out and two more about to bust through! He's all of a sudden going to have 6 teeth!! He's growing up way too fast!!

We had a nice long three day weekend, but of course I waited until the last minute to finish hanging up the laundry - Thank goodness for baby einstein!

Saturday night we went to a christmas tree burning party in Oak Hill. It was interesting, and not quite cool enough out for a fire. But there was about 300 people there and a ton of people that I work with came up north for the festivity.

Today Drew had his 9 month check up at the doctor and a follow-up to his ear infection he had a couple weeks ago. Everything went awesome! He is 30 1/4 inches tall (2 inches taller than his 6 month check up) and 25 pounds (3 pounds heavier). He has his third tooth - finally! - and she said two more are about to cut through - great! more sleepless nights! He has started eating "people food" and she said we were on track with that but stay away from fish and chocolate. He can start having milk next month - thank goodness, that will save us at least $100 a month! Here is a picture of Drew enjoying his big boy dinner...

Well, it finally got cool enough to put on a jacket this week. We decided to try out our new jogging stroller (although i don't know how much "jogging" I will do) but I do actually hope to get some roller blading started and hopefully will get some good use out of the jogging stroller generously donated by Tim and Joan (our friends that live across the street) We are going to finish storing it for them until the rest of their grandkids come along. As you can see, it is still a little big for Drew, but I'm sure he will quickly grow into it. I'm sure the thick jacket we made him wear did not help with trying to fit into the stroller. Oh well, he looks like a little - grown up - boy in his jacket and shoes!!

Drew ate spaghetti with us Friday night. Real spaghetti not baby food. I decided to try and see what he would do. He ate it fine, I did make the mistake of putting the plate too close to him and the whole experience became quite messy. Oh well! Hopefully we can get him off baby food soon! Wish us luck!

Drew turned 9 months old on Wednesday!! He is growing whay too fast! This was a crazy hair night - although every night and every day is a crazy hair day!!
