We had our first bowl of cereal this weekend! Drew and I both are going to need some practice before we get this right. First, I turned his cereal into sloppy soup! It was SO gross! I tried to stop him from putting his fingers in his mouth, but finally I gave up and watched him go from his mouth to rubbing his eyes and he then succeeded at getting the slop everywhere! My second batch was not so soupy, but by then he was over the whole ordeal and just wanted to drink his normal milk. We tried again on Sunday and I was more careful and the cereal turned out thicker and he ate all 3 ounces! AND without making too much of a mess. We'll just have to keep practicing and then we can move up to vegetables - YUM!

Drew is doing really good grabbing his toes. He's actually pretty flexible. I'm beginning to wonder when those feet are going to go all the way over his head! BTW - those are RJ's hairy legs - not mine!!

Drew has recently discovered that he can scream, and very loud! He yells as loud as he possibly can and then laughs at himself. One time he screamed so loud that he actually scared himself! RJ and I entertain ourselves watching him. Sometimes he opens his mouth to scream and nothing comes out, so that is funny also!

Here's Drew trying out his new "bumbo" chair. He really can't sit up on his own yet, but this chair is designed so he can. He has such a flat spot on the back of his head from laying down so much, I thought he might enjoy a new view. He is also sporting his new jammies. He had to move up to 6-9 month pajamas because his feet are too big for the 3-6 month size. We are starting to notice that a lot of his 3-6 month clothes are starting to fit snuggly. Great! He is only 15 weeks old!!

Drew with Great-Grandma Grundish...

Saturday we were going to go out in the boat, however we never made it. We spent the morning at Soundcrafters trying to get RJ's new stereo system fixed. So we decided to just hang out in the pool at my parents house. Drew got some new "cool dude" shades. He really likes the pool, he kicks his legs and splashes his hands. We will definitely have to get him in swimming lessons next summer!

Here's Drew just hanging out with Dad. He has been so smiley and talkative lately.

Yesterday (Monday) Drew turned 3 months old!! Time is going by so fast! He always is very happy in the mornings. So I had to snap a picture, even though he hadn't gotten dressed yet.

This has been a great 4 day weekend! Saturday I spent the day at the beach/pool and we cooked out and had fireworks. Of course I had to leave before the fireworks were over because with Drew at my mom's house, my milk was coming in and had no where to go! My boobs hurt SO bad!! Sunday I went over to Debary to visit with Jennifer. She just remodeled her kitchen and it looks so good. They also just bought the house across the street from them so they are painting it and getting it ready to rent out. We went to lunch and to the Sanford Mall. Good thing the mall closes early on Sunday's or we would have been there until midnight!! I love shopping. Drew had an upset tummy earlier in the day, but he ended up being pretty good at the mall. Today is the 4th of July, but we don't plan on doing anything. Drew is already sleeping before it gets dark out so we'd have to either keep him up or wake him up for the fireworks, but the noise would scare him and the bugs would eat him alive so we are going to skip it this year. No biggie - we have lots of years to go.

RJ and I were both off work. We spent the day shopping at the outlet mall in St. Augustine. Drew was so good, not a peep out of him all day. He enjoys watching all the people and the sites. towards the end of the day he was really sleepy and starting leaning to one side. Poor little guy was just too tired to even hold himself up anymore. As soon as we got into the car he fell asleep and woke up all smiles again! He is such a good baby!!

Drew ended the day by stretching his legs and watching a baby einstein movie (baby bach).
