If you haven't figured it out by now, this is my favorite view. The beack of the house is going to be so nice!
The lanai with the door in...
The AC ducts in

From the dining room... BTW - it has been pouring rain the past couple of days, so now that the doors and windows are in, maybe the water will stop coming in my house!!!

By Saturday all the AC ducts were in throughout the house...

They installed the plumbing and bathtubs, here is Lorne's tub...
Laundry room...
All the windows were installed Saturday, this is the den...

My awesome massage shower...

And the jetted roman tub...

By Tuesday the inside framing was complete! Here is the view from the living room into the kitchen...
The front and back door were delivered!!

By wonderful view from the kitchen out to the lanai. RJ is checking out the insulation...

From the living room looking out the front door...

Just checking out the archway over the door to the master bedroom...

Saturday they finished the plywood on the roof - it's starting to look like a real house!

Sunday, Drew's school had a fall festival with lots of games, a train ride through the pumpkin patch, balloon animals, face painting, etc. We had a blast...

Will and Weston met us for some fun...
It's a sword...

Baby Update

With all the other things going on, we haven't been mentioning the baby much. We had an ultrasound today, we can barely tell what the pictures are showing, so I won't bother scanning them and posting. However, with just about 4 weeks left to go, the baby is measuring 7 lbs. 3 oz., which will put him at about 9 1/2 pounds on his due date. Lucky me, as you can imagine I am totally looking forward to delivering a baby pretty much the size and shape of a 10 lb bag of potatoes. People give birth at full term to babies the size of mine at 36 weeks pregnant! Well, that's my exciting baby news...

House Update

Well, a lot has changed this week! The trusses are up and probably about 1/2 the plywood is up. The exterior wall insulation is up and most of the rooms are framed out.

The little square that RJ & Drew are stepping out of is the laundry room. You can see the pipe stickiing up where the laundry tub will go. My dad is in the dining room.
Drew is in the kitchen and my dad is in the boys bathroom.
Here we are in the living room, our master bedroom behind us.
Looking pretty good.
Now that is a high roof!!

Sunday update

I forgot to post these last Sunday... Here is Drew standing in the "family cafe" in front of what will be my favorite window in the house. The pipes sticking out of the concrete on the right are for the kitchen sink. The room in the far right is Lorne's suite.
A view from the kitchen towads the living room and master suite.
the garage, obviously...From the back...
RJ and Drew light the pumpkin... The pumpkin has since rotted and been thrown out. Poor pumpkin.

Pumpkin Patch

Tonight we decided to go visit the pumpkin patch. RJ and Drew searched all over looking for the perfect pumpkin to carve and roast pumpkin seeds...
Drew liked this little one, just his size...
RJ liked this big one...
So, both boys got what they wanted, and I helped Drew decorate his little guy...

Here are out mini-stickered pumpkins, a lot less mess!
RJ showing Drew what they are getting themselves in to...
And the mess begins...
Carving the pumpkin...
And TADA!!! How cute is that pumpkin!

Well, it rained pretty hard Monday, so I guess it is ok that the guys went home for the day. However, today they worked a long, almost 11 hour day to make up for it and got pretty darn far along.

A view from the street...
From the front door...
From the back yard...

At Target Sunday, RJ couldn't resist buying the cat a Halloween costume, as you can see, she is thrilled...

Although I said no shower, Kim and Jodi decided to have a luncheon for me and told everyone to bring diapers. I had a lot of fun having lunch with the girls and it was really nice that they got everyone together.

Joanna, Jodi and Heidi waiting for their yummy Clancy's food...
Kim is taking the picture, but joining Joanna, Jodi and Heidi is Zan, me, mom, Jennifer and Kim...

Don't know why I'm laughing about the diapers, because a big box like that is muchly appreciated!
Now I know I am laughing at this pillow because we haven't decided on a name yet. We were going to pass it to Jodi and have her write in a name so that RJ didn't have a choice anymore! Too cute!!
