A view of the living room from the front door...
The kitchen...
The living room from the kitchen...
Lorne's bathroom...
The Master bedroom, of all the stuff we have, we do not have any bedroom furniture. We are using end tables from the living room as night stands! Oh well, we'll get there eventually!
Poor Evan was moved into the laundry room at my parents house once I had to go back to work. He slept good, but made too many noises while he was sleeping good! And the poor guy barely fit in it anymore!!
Drew and I being silly...

Evan

Here are some new/older pictures of Evan. He is such a good baby, you have to work for the smiles, but they are so worth it! And he is still sleeping through the night!

Fence - Day 2

Well, we got up first thing this morning and headed to the house to finish up the fence. It turned out to be a pretty nice day and we both are tired, and even sunburned.
The fence looks awesome! Here is a view from the back porch, however the sun was going down so I couldn't get a good shot of the back yard.
This is just a quick shot from the back porch through to the front door. The front door got painted yesterday and the carpet was put in on Friday.
RJ putting some finishing touches on the fence as the sun is going down. We'll have to get some better pictures tomorrow during daylight!

Fence - Day 1

The painters were at the house today doing some touch-up and they painted the front door...
To pass the final inspection, we have to have a 52" fence around the pool. RJ and I had many discussions and finally agreed to the aluminum fence. Although RJ has never done anything like this before, he decided to attempt it instead of paying someone to come do it.

Lorne even helped a little!!Well, at the end of day one, we didn't get as far as we would have liked, however we found our groove and should be able to move pretty quickly. And YES I did help. It is starting to look really nice, so I am excited to see it finished.

We're almost ready to move in!!

There was lots of activity on the house this week! Once the countertops FINALLY got installed, everything else quickly got finished also. Here is my awesome new sink and dishwasher, you can't see how deep the sink is, but let's just say it will accomodate all the dishes that RJ and Lorne will pile up until I finally load/unload the dishwasher.
The plumber seems to be done, with all the toilets installed (didn't think I needed a picture of that), all the sink and shower fixtures in and then THIS! My jet massage shower! How much do you want to get in this to take a shower!
The laundry tub in the laundry room, for my boys' (and that includes RJ) to wash their grubby, dirty hands before walking into my new house!

The cabinets in the laundry room - just a place to put more junk that we will forget about! Actually, I am excited about this cabinet, in our old house we just had a shelf to put the laundry soap, etc., now at least it will look more organized!
The carpet went in today!! WooHoo! Now we know we are getting close to the end!

A view of the kitchen, minus a drawer, and the range hood - which is back ordered until Jan. 22nd.
Drew wanted me to "cheese" him...

Evan is Two Months old!!

Mr. Smiley is two months old! He is sleeping through the night, eating well, and telling us lots of stories via his cooing and smiles.
Here is proof that he is eating well! Can you believe how FAT he is getting! I have no idea how much he weighs, but it has got to be about 15 pounds! He is almost too big for his 0-3 month clothes!! And I still have some that he hasn't worn yet!

House Update

Well, obviously we did not get in for Christmas, in fact we obviously didn't move in before the end of the year. As we wait for the countertops, they are getting some other things completed, here the glass got installed around the shower...
Countertops, mirror and lights installed in the bathrooms... (this is Drew & Evan's bathroom)
Lights were installed over the bar and kitchen table area...
Light in the dining room...
Light in the front foyer...
We are getting closer!!
I think this picture is hilarious!
Evan talking to me after his bath...
More talking and smiling...
Friday night we went out to the NSB airport where they had a display of hot-air balloons. Since Drew is a huge fans of balloons, or ba-loo-la-loos as he calls them, we thought he would enjoy seeing the biiiig balloons. And he did.
There were lots of other things for kids to do, here Drew and Rainie climbed aboard an old fire truck...
I thought I'd post some more recent pictures of Evan, since he is getting SO fat! You can't see his neck through his double chin and the rolls unfold on his legs when you take his diaper off!!
