This morning we went to Chuck-e-cheese with Kim and Kellen. Drew did not know what to think of that place at firts, he was so overwhelemed, and terrified of Chuckee. That all soon changed.
Here is Kellen and Drew riding the roller coater...
Drew was not into this clock ride...
Taking a cruise with Chuckee...

One of the only rides that Drew was actually into, we rode this one a couple of times. It is a bike and the faster you pedal, the higher it goes up...

Saturday we had a very full day. After the little gym in the morning, we met Kim and Rainie at the beach, it was SO nice out. Drew ran around and played for a couple hours. After Drew's nap, we met Jodi, Will & Weston at CorMeth (Will & Weston's school) where there was an easter egg hunt. They had a really nice set up, with real bunnies to pet, crafts area where the kids could color a bag for eggs, egg hunts separated by age groups, and snacks afterwards. After the egg hunt, we went back to Jodi's house and went to the beach - AGAIN! Drew had a really good day.

Giving the bunny a kiss...
Hunting for eggs, at first he would just walk past the ones he didn't like, or pick them up and put them back down, but I finally got him to start putting them into his easter basket...

Drew cut the egg hunting short so he could get some playtime in...

Friday night we went to Shells for dinner to celebrate, and try to talk him out of, Chris is leaving for Russia in a couple weeks to take a course with Cambridge University and then teach English to Russian adults. He could be gone up to a couple years.

Friday night, Rainie came over and hung out while Kim & Tim went to dinner. We started the night out playing with Elmo's and here they are doing the chicken dance along with chicken dance elmo...
Sitting down to watch a movie...
The movie didn't last long (actually the sitting still didn't last long) so we went into Drew's room to play, coloring was a hit!
The biggest hit was the sit-n-spin, Rainie was yelling for Drew to spin faster...

We had a nice calm weekend, mostly because Drew and RJ were both sick, but it was nice to just sit around and relax. Saturday Drew had our usual class at the Little Gym and then made a pit stop at Target on the way home. Saturday afternoon, we went to Isabelle's 2nd birthday party. On Sunday we went to Denny's for breakfast and then over to Riverside Drive to walk through images art festival. There was hardly anyone there yet, so we were able to look at all the booths, and had time to let Drew run around Riverside park. Since his nose was runnning pretty bad, we decided to take him home and lay him down for an early nap. When he woke up, RJ has been begging for us all to go for a bike ride, so I gave in since it was such a nice day out. We rode our bikes to dairy queen for a hot dog and ice cream lunch. After, we rode down to riverside drive along the water and over to canal street, where by this time was packed with people going to the art festival. We stopped at this park on west canal street that I have been wanting to check out. We pass it all the time and it seems like a nice park with tons of things to play on, it is just is not in a very nice part of town. Anyways, Drew had a blast and didn't really want to leave. But we had a really long bike ride back home so we wanted to get started on it. I thought my legs were going to fall off by the time we got home, plus Drew's bike seat is on my bike, so I was peddling 35 extra pounds around town!!
Later that evening, RJ grilled us all pork chops and then cleaned the dishes, Drew decided to help...

The second flas on the camera throws Drew a little of on his smiling, but he was actually enjoying helping Dad, well more enjoying playing in the water :o)

Superbowl Party Dry-run
We had a very hectic week taking Drew to the doctor, who then sent us to Arnold Palmer (the children's hospital in Orlando) burn center so check out his hand. He still has blisters, but they think that everything should heal up fine in a couple weeks. In the meantime, he has been enjoying showing everyone his "booboo" and likes the big bandage on his hand.
My parents and Henri & Terry came over Saturday night with a bushell of oystes, a ton of chicken, baked beans and potatoe salad. We made a bon fire and practiced for the superbowl party we will be having Sunday.
