Superbowl Party Dry-run

We had a very hectic week taking Drew to the doctor, who then sent us to Arnold Palmer (the children's hospital in Orlando) burn center so check out his hand. He still has blisters, but they think that everything should heal up fine in a couple weeks. In the meantime, he has been enjoying showing everyone his "booboo" and likes the big bandage on his hand.

My parents and Henri & Terry came over Saturday night with a bushell of oystes, a ton of chicken, baked beans and potatoe salad. We made a bon fire and practiced for the superbowl party we will be having Sunday.

After all the drama in the morning, we still decided to go to Will's birthday party, which was at the little gym.

Eating cake... We have a follow appointment with the pediatrician today to make sure it is going to heal ok. Every single finger on his right hand has blistered up from the burns. But he is a very strong little boy and I'm sure everything wil turn out ok!!

1st Emergency room visit

Well, we experienced our first trip to the emergency room Sunday morning. I was getting ready to straighten my hair for a trip up to the mall, when Mr. Helpful want to help me by handing me my flat iron, by grabbing the hot end!!

I had a dentist appointment, so while RJ was making us all dinner, Drew got to hang out with Bapa...

(forgot to post these pictures) last weekend it was cold enough for a fire again, so Drew helped Rj go down and get some wood. He doesn't get to wear this coat and hat very often and luckily it still fits from last year...

Well another semester at the Little Gym is over. There was an awards ceremony like last time, and Grammy and Great Grandma Grundish came to watch him.

He was totally not into being there at first...

Finally Drew joined in. For next semester, I am going to move back to the Saturday class. He does so much better, I think because he is awake and ready for the day. Wednesday nights he is tired and hungry!
